In leading, the company’s management has established close relationships with the workers, thus increased cooperation. In controlling, the company has established a strictly no-nonsense atmosphere, at every area within the company’s premises – including the gate area, to the parking lots, to the working areas. Lincoln’s approach to organizing and motivating their employees, as based on the ideas of early behaviorism: the company has capitalized on the basic behavioral traits of employees – of wanting to see their contribution recognized and rewarded – to motivate and encourage the productivity of their employees.
